Here we are talking about another type of love, a place where perhaps some loves were born. Between Via delle Belle Donne, piazza Facchini and Via dell'Occhio, was the Red light district of Pisa. The brothels were closed in 1958, following the Merlin law, and converted into recovery facilities for former prostitutes. At the end of Via dell'Occhio, before turning into via Toselli, in the direction of Corso Italia, at that time there was a sign posted every day on the arch, which read: Oh my Jesus, you who were conceived without sin, help me to sin without conceiving!
