Mucco pisano al pascolo brado (Parco Regionale Migliarino, San Rossore, Massaciuccoli)

This itinerary virtually winds through the historic estates of the Pisan area that are part of the Migliarino, San Rossore and Massaciuccoli Park, with their natural reserves, the marshes, Lake Massaciuccoli, the coastal sandy areas, with wild and wide dunes. beaches, the waterways that cross them and the villas or farms that dot them. It is a virtual path between one estate and another, which can only be travelled by public and private transport, in an area that includes sandy dunes, wetlands and agricultural and wooded areas, with a great variety of Mediterranean flora and fauna.

Each area within the estates can be visited on foot or by other means, made available in the various locations, such as bicycles, horses and drawn carts. It is also possible to navigate the entire territory of the park aboard a canoe or a small boat along an evocative route that offers an unprecedented point of view.

The Park however features a path network and three different visitor centres; the San Rossore visitor centre, the La Brilla visitor centre and the Lipu Massaciuccoli birdwatching oasis.
