The Pisa Architecture Biennale reaches its sixth edition and chooses Nature as its theme, a topic that is essential for architecture and cities today. From Friday 10 October to Sunday 16 November 2025, Pisa will become a widespread laboratory, hosting exhibitions, conferences, lectio magistralis and events dedicated to the relationship between architecture, landscape and community.

The event is promoted and organized by the LP – Laboratoprio Permanente per la città, represented by architects Massimo Del Seppia, Chiara Barsotti, Pietro Berti and Andrea Iacomoni, who also take care of the artistic direction and curatorial system of the Biennale.

The Biennale enjoys the patronage and support of the Municipality of Pisa, as well as the collaboration of the main local institutions.

The Representative Medal of the Presidency of the Republic, granted by the Head of State for the high cultural value of the event, was also awarded for the sixth edition.

The 2025 Biennale is divided into eight pavilions spread across the historic center, with free entry for citizens and visitors:

• Republican Arsenals – international pavilion with six guest studios.
• Medici Arsenals – home of the Call to Action and the invited designers.
• Fortress and Guelph Tower – monographic exhibition dedicated to Alvaro Siza.
• Church of Santa Maria della Spina– exhibition on the sacred projects of Alvaro Siza.
• Staircase above the Loggias – Urban Center of the Municipality of Pisa.
• Atrium of the Municipality of Pisa – Charter of Possible Actions and urban projects of the Pisan Coast.
• Palazzo Lanfranchi – exhibitions dedicated to the RPBW and other special projects.
• Bastione Parlascio – monographic exhibition dedicated to the architect Paolo Riani.

Each pavilion hosts exhibitions, meetings, workshops and site-specific projects, for an immersive experience that involves the whole city. Each pavilion has free entry.
