Pisa is once again hosting one of its most spectacular events: on Sunday, June 7, starting at 7:30 p.m., the “Dinner on the Ponte di Mezzo” will take place—a beloved annual event that serves as a true preview of the Pisan summer, now in its 14th edition.
The Dinner on the Bridge is organized by Confcommercio Pisa in collaboration with the restaurateurs of ConfRistoranti Confcommercio Pisa, with the participation of the North-West Tuscany Chamber of Commerce – Terre di Pisa, under the patronage and with the support of the Regional Council of Tuscany, the patronage of the City of Pisa, and in collaboration with Fipe-Confcommercio, the daily newspaper La Nazione, the Ipsar Giacomo Matteotti Institute of Pisa, the Association of Pisan Chefs, Fisar, and the Terre di Pisa DOC Wine Consortium, and is included in the Tuscany Rainbow of Summer 2026 program of the Region of Tuscany alongside Vetrina Toscana.
A unique and enchanting event, the only one capable of offering an unforgettable experience amidst the breeze blowing over the Arno and the magical colors of the sunset. A dinner where traditional Pisan dishes take center stage, this year presented in a delicious meat-based menu: Appetizer – Crispy tartlet with finocchiona mousse and white bread crumble with extra virgin olive oil; First Course – Golden treasure chest with pecorino fondue and crispy pancetta, Pisanello tomato velouté, and lightly fried leek; Main Course – Suckling pig fillet with aromatic herbs and citrus sauce, mashed potatoes with Tuscan extra virgin olive oil and lemon; Dessert – Pisan ricotta ice cream truffle scented with honey and rosemary, accompanied by passito wine. Water, wine, coffee.
These delicacies are prepared by the chefs of Trattoria La Tortuga, Ristorante Osteria L’Artilafo, Pastificio Pasta dè Miracoli, Osteria Sottosella – Country Club Boccadarno, Ristorante La Pergoletta, Osteria In Domo, Ristorante Poldino, Ristorante Ambra Nera, and the Associazione Cuochi Pisani. During the dinner, guests will have the opportunity to taste wines from the Consorzio Vini DOC Terre di Pisa.
For its 14th edition, the Cena sul Ponte will feature the artistic opening of the Pisa Jazz Rebirth festival. All the ingredients are in place for a truly unique evening, offering the chance to savor the region’s culinary excellence in a breathtaking setting.
