Inside the Park, typical and organic foods are produced with attention to the environmental impact and enhancement of biodiversity. Characteristic cattle and sheep are bred in the farms of the park and fresh milk and cheeses, fine examples of traditional agricultural and food products, are available for direct sale. In the alluvial areas there are organic cultivations, while organic honey and pine nuts, products of the beaches and coastal pine forests, become the protagonists of local and non-local artisan pastry creations.
The village of San Piero a Grado, a few kilometres from Pisa, hosts in July the 'Sagra del pinolo' (Pine nut Fair), one of the typical products of the park.
