"Romantic" and progressive rock music. This is the combination that accompanies the month of lovers at the Museum of Ancient Ships of Pisa, which in February dedicates a series of activities to young people, couples and adults, curated by Cooperative Archaeology.

The first, is scheduled Saturday, February 10 at 3:30 p.m. with "Amor amoris: a journey in the ars amateur", a guided tour in which the operators of the Museum will accompany visitors to discover the love of the time of the ancient Romans, through the finds coming from the excavation of the Ships of San Rossore.

At the end, at 4:30 p.m., participants will try their hand at an adult workshop in which they will make aphrodisiac and scented oils to experience a new and fun experience that will also offer the opportunity to meet other fans and fans of history and archeology.

Duration: 2 hours | Cost: 12,00€ per person + ticket for the museum. The activity will be carried out with a minimum of 15 participants

Sunday, February 18 at 5 p.m., instead, the Auditorium of the Museum of Ancient Ships will transform a rock stage to the tune of the music of the group "Aliante", band formed in 2016, with 3 discs (the fourth in progress) and original compositions of the musicians themselves, which best conveyed their personal musical and educational experience and especially their musical tastes. A set that varies from progressive to jazz-rock, with ample space for improvisation, which characterizes these genres.

The event is part of the exhibition "The musical salon VII edition" curated by the Cultural Association "Chi vuol esser lieto sia", in collaboration with the Museum of Ancient Ships of Pisa and the patronage of the City of Pisa. More information about the music festival here
