Parco di Mau

MAU Park is located in the Piagge area, in the green space beside SMSBiblio. It is a public park dedicated to the memory of Maurizio Alberti, a supporter of Pisa Sporting Club who died in 1999. The park was opened in January 2019 through a collaboration between the Municipality of Pisa, the Curva Nord supporters’ group and numerous local associations.

The park was designed as an inclusive and accessible space for everyone, with particular attention to the needs of people with disabilities. The facilities include accessible play equipment, pathways, benches, play areas, a sports area for basketball and Baskin, and a large gazebo equipped with tables and inclusive seating.

MAU Park is an example of community participation, created through the commitment of Pisa supporters and local associations. As well as providing a place for leisure and family activities, the park promotes the values of inclusion, community and solidarity.

Its location close to the library and Viale delle Piagge makes it a pleasant place for a walk and for outdoor activities.
