On Tuesday, June 20, at 9 pm, for the Scientific Evenings cycle, I meet with the researchers of the Italian Institute of Technology Mauro Gemmi.
Since antiquity it has been suggested that everything around us is made up of small "balls" called atoms. Surprisingly, only recently have been invented instruments able to see these microscopic matter of matter with our eyes. Mauro will show us the fascinating world of the latest generation microscopes with which it is possible to determine how atoms form matter, determine its properties and imperfections.
