Thursday, December 21st at 9 pm at Teatro Verdi a classic among the classics, as famous as loved by the public, 'The Nutcracker', a show that has made generations of spectators fall in love.
Just 'The Nutcracker' will inaugurate the Dance Season 2017/18 of the Fondazione Teatro di Pisa, created by the artistic director Silvano Patacca, together with the Fondazione Toscana Spettacolo onlus.
Bring on stage from the 'Balletto del Sud', a solid international reality that collects successes in the many Italian and European tours, the version signed by Fredy Franzutti, choreographer among the most appreciated in the national scene, combines the testimonies of the original staging of Petipa -Ivanov with the gothic world of the visionary director Tim Burton, rebuilt by sumptuous scenes and spectacular costumes.
Piotr Il'Ic Caikovskij's music will be performed by the Hungarian State Orchestra 'Alba Regia Symphonic Orchestra', conducted by Árpád Nagy, made up of thirty-five high-quality elements.
Among the famous snowflakes waltz and the mythical waltz of flowers, little Clara receives a nutcracker at Christmas that in a magical dream turns into a prince and lives with her a thousand adventures going from enchanted forests to bizarre kingdoms and meeting the most varied and entertaining characters, which the composer devised on Hoffmann's story 'The Nutcracker and the King of the Rats'.
The beautiful musical themes, which come alive in the festive scenes under the Christmas tree, with the final divertissement with the dances of the different countries of the world and their colorful costumes, make the ballet a title loved even by children, for its recall to the warm Christmas atmosphere.
It is also remembered that the promotion for Offiline parties is still underway, 'Christmas gives dance': those who buy a ticket at the box office will have the second free ticket.
