From Friday 19 to Sunday 21 May, the Festival della Robotica will be held at the Arsenali Repubblicani and the Stazione Leopolda, an unmissable scientific popularisation event for people who are passionate and curious about the world of technology and innovation. To immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the Festival, there will be two previews: one during the Agrifiera di Pontasserchio, from 28 to 29 April; the other in Volterra from 12 to 14 May.
PROGRAMME:
On 19 May, educational robotics workshops for students will be held at the Stazione Leopolda in Pisa. Also at the Stazione Leopolda and at the Arsenali Repubblicani, exhibitions of robots and popular and interactive presentations are scheduled, by lecturers, researchers and researchers from the universities of Pisa.
20 May is dedicated to several thematic conferences, such as "Robotics, automation, digitalisation and precision systems applied to agriculture. research experiences of the University of Pisa" at the Stazione Leopolda and "Robotics, devices and artificial intelligence for rehabilitation and assistance" at the Arsenali Repubblicani.
Also on 20 May, there will be robotics workshops for everyone at the Stazione Leopolda and, as part of Robotics for Medicine, the talk show "Clinical Robotics and Research: the voice of the protagonists" will be held at the Arsenali Repubblicani, hosted by Claudio Sottili.
On 21 May, at the Stazione Leopolda and the Arsenali Repubblicani, new robotics workshops will be held, exhibitions of robots will be opened and new talks will be given by professors, researchers from the three universities of Pisa.
Two talk shows are scheduled, one on the theme "Women and technology" led by Carlotta Romualdi and the other on endoscopic robotics.
On 20 and 21 May at the Arsenali Repubblicani there will be "skill simulator" competitions, during which anyone can test their skills, and public presentations on the robotics experience in Urology and Cardiac Surgery.
The Festival della Robotica will end on the evening of 21 May with the award ceremony of the Pisa Robot Film Festival and the musical performance with the participation of Paolo Conticini at the Teatro Verdi in Pisa.
