The Opera della Primaziale Pisana announces a new edition of Anima Mundi. For the twenty-first time since 2001, when an idea by Giuseppe Sinopoli gave birth to the festival, Pisa Cathedral and the Camposanto will be the extraordinary backdrops for seven concerts, from 9 to 24 September, all marked, albeit to varying degrees, by a common spiritual dimension. Trevor Pinnock, to whom the artistic direction is entrusted for this edition as well, has called upon famous performers, emerging soloists and some of the most acclaimed Italian and foreign ensembles to perform a programme that alternates certain values and new proposals over a span of almost three centuries.
organised by the Opera della Primaziale Pisana, with the contribution of the Fondazione Pisa and the patronage of the Municipality of Pisa
