Massimiliano Precisi's painting and sculpture exhibition entitled 'MURDRUM' will be inaugurated on Saturday 11 June at the Fortilizio della Cittadella. The initiative is organised by the cultural association 'Elianto', in collaboration with FuoriLuogo - Servizi per l'Arte and under the patronage of the Municipality of Pisa.
Massimiliano Precisi was born in Pisa in 1982. His works have been shown in solo exhibitions nationally, in the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates and Switzerland. His art focuses on the falsehood and hypocrisy of humanity. The artist expresses these concepts through imagery made of masks and multiform subjects.
"I don't like to describe my paintings," says Massimiliano Precisi, "art is beautiful because it is subjective, each person can and must see anything in it, even the most extravagant or pathetic. The exhibition will be an orgy of eyes and figures observing those who will stand in the middle of the rooms watching them'.
The exhibition, curated by Filippo Lotti with a critical text by Valeria Pardini, will be open free of charge until 3 July with the following opening hours: Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m.; Sunday from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 4 to 7 p.m.
