
On the occasion of the Terre di Pisa Food & Wine Festival, Sunday 16 October, there will be an appointment for the curious and gourmets accompanied by Ariela Bankier, journalist, Ais Sommelier, Master Cheese Taster and author of numerous guides.
This will be a tour to discover Jewish Pisa, with a guided visit to the Synagogue and the Jewish Cemetery, followed by a tasting - at the 'La PergOletta' restaurant - of typical Jewish dishes, from challah to Shabbat stew, from pomegranate to honey, and the role of aubergine, fennel and goose in the traditional Jewish menu.
