On Thursday, July 2, at 9:30 p.m. at the Cittadella Galileiana (Largo Padre Renzo Spadoni), the Museum of Physics Instruments—Science Playroom, in collaboration with the Nuova Limonaia Association, is hosting the presentation of the book "Pisa—Walks with Mathematical and Physical Curiosities" by Anna Maria Gennai (Felici Editore, 2024).
In this book, Prof. Gennai presents eight itineraries through Pisa, viewed through the unique lens of renowned mathematicians and physicists who spent part of their lives in the city.
The author will speak, and Prof. Marco Maria Massai will moderate.
Following the event, there will be a tour of the Galilean experiments and the museum’s historical collection.

The Author
She holds a degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Pisa, was a CNR fellow for studies in Engineering and Architecture, and passed the public competitive examination based on qualifications and exams to become a professional technician at the CNUCE in Pisa.
She chose to become a teacher and for 28 years held a teaching position in Mathematics and Physics at the Liceo Classico in Pontedera (PI), holding teaching certifications in Mathematics, Mathematics and Physics, Applied Mathematics, and Mathematics and Science.
For the past twelve years, he has served as co-director and regional representative for Tuscany of the online magazine “Euclide, the math magazine for young people.”
