On Tuesday, 20 May, the Walls of Pisa are also preparing to welcome the Giro d'Italia: the arrival of the Lucca-Pisa time trial stage is scheduled in Piazza dei Miracoli, and throughout the afternoon the runners, who start at a distance from each other, will race through the city streets to the finish line.

The monument will pay homage to the pink race with two performances at high altitude: at 2.30 p.m., 3.30 p.m. and 4.30 p.m. “Life is in Pink, Life is a Wheel”, by Movimentoinactor, a dance with large cloths in the colour that characterises the competition; at 5 p.m. the musicians of “I Marilyn” will play one of their songs.
