Sunday 19 April, a journey of discovery through the local flora and fauna with ‘La natura delle Mura’, an excursion focusing on natural microhabitats – unique urban ecological niches where lizards, nocturnal birds of prey and other small animals have found a distinctive habitat at these heights, forming an ecological corridor right in the city centre – led by Marco Zuffi from the University of Pisa’s Natural History Museum.
Departure at 10:00 am from the Torre di Legno (behind Piazza Federico del Rosso) and arrival in Piazza dei Miracoli at approximately 12:30 pm.
