Sunday 3 August renews the appointment with Sunday at the museum, the initiative of the Ministry of Culture which allows free entry every first Sunday of the month to state museums and archaeological parks.
As usual, some museums of the University Museum System of the University of Pisa also join the initiative to allow you to admire the historical, artistic and scientific heritage even in summer.
National Museums of Pisa

National Museum of Pisa: open from 9.00 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. (last entry 1 p.m.).

The ancient Ships of Pisa: open from 2 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. (last entry 6.30 p.m.).

National Museum of Royal Palace: entrances at 9 a.m., 10.30 a.m. and noon.

Monumental Charterhouse of Calci: open from 9 a.m. to 1.30 p.m. (last entry 1 p.m.) with free access to the Court of Honor and the Church. Complete itinerary to the Certosa permitted only with a paid guided tour organized by the Cooperativa Archeologia e Itinera. Entrance fees at 9.30 a.m., 11 a.m. and 12.30 p.m.
