On the occasion of the solar eclipse, on Wednesday, August 12, 2026, a free public observation will be held in Marina di Pisa (Terrazza F.lli Bruno and Gillo Pontecorvo) starting at 6:00 PM, with the support of amateur astronomers from AAAV, GAMP, and ACA, who will provide their instruments and report on the phenomenon.

The event is organized by the Municipality of Pisa, Pisa Turismo, Pisamo, and the amateur associations involved.

Protective goggles provided by the municipal administration will also be distributed to safely observe the eclipse.
