The Pisa Folk Festiva event returns this year too!
Concerts, workshops, and workshops dedicated to children will take place between June 30 and July 4, 2026.

TUESDAY, JUNE 30TH AND WEDNESDAY, JULY 1ST, 5.00 PM - ARCI Alberone Club
PISA FOLK FESTIVAL KIDS. Two afternoons of African stories, traditional dances, drums and percussion: workshops dedicated to the 3–6 and 6–10 age groups.
Edited by Giulia Solano, Maria Piscopo, Francesco Salvadore. In collaboration with Circolo ARCI Alberone.
THURSDAY, JULY 2, 8.45 PM - Scotto Garden
BOMBINO + MALI BLUES
Bombino's desert blues — Goumar Almoctar, raised in Niger's Tuareg culture — transforms Berber music into a universal electric language, forged between exile, resistance, and freedom. Opening, Mali Blues: a sonic journey to the deep roots of the blues, between jazz, improvisation and desert sounds.

DANZA DI RADICE — Focus PIZZICA PIZZICA
Dance workshop with Andrea De Siena. A meeting dedicated to the dances of the communities of Central and Southern Italy, with a focus on pizzica pizzica and in particular on the contexts in which it lives today, including ritual festivals, tradition, and artistic revival..
Open Class: No prior knowledge required.

CANZONIERE GRECANICO SALENTINO feat. INUDE — Il Mito
The Canzoniere Grecanico Salentino returns to Pisa with Il Mito: fifty years of history celebrated in an album that topped the world music charts. On stage with them are Inude, an indietronic trio from Salento, for a rewriting of Mediterranean codes in an urban key that transforms the performance into a collective electronic rite — together for the first time on the stage of the Scotto Garden.

SATURDAY 4 JULY

WORKSHOP DI TAMBURELLO. Tamburello Salentino with Giancarlo Paglialunga of the Canzoniere Grecanico Salentino: techniques, rhythm, and insights into the Ionian side. Two sessions: Beginners and Intermediate/Advanced.

ENZO AVITABILE ft. TONY ESPOSITO — NEAPOLITAN INVASION
Enzo Avitabile retraces the masterpieces of his work acoustically, from Sacro Sud to Black Tarantella: an intimate concert that combines popular roots, innovation, and social commitment to sing about a South that is a condition of the soul, brotherhood, and redemption through music.
