The 'Festa dei Parchi' is back again this year with over 30 free guided tours organised from June to September, an opportunity to get to know the Park and its Estates, environments to be known, experienced, loved, cared for and respected.

On foot, by bike or by boat, with hiking walks, musical events and games for children. Thanks to the contribution of the Region of Tuscany and the environmental and territorial associations Legambiente Pisa and Versilia, WWF Alta Toscana, Pro Loco Coltano, Oasi Lipu.  Read the flyer

Sunday 11 June from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. - "Tom Thumb and his little crumbs", a path dedicated to little ones (children from 4 to 7 years old). Adventure in the woods to search for clues to discover who lives in this magical place.

Friday 16 June from 5 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. - "La Tenuta di Coltano tra natura e storia" (The Coltano Estate between nature and history), an excursion through cultivated fields and laurel woods to discover the flora and fauna of this part of the park. Sunday 25 June from 9.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. - "The soil and its secrets", an excursion in the area to discover the different environments, the wooded and the cultivated. The soil its formation and how to protect it, dedicated to children aged 7 to 9.

Saturday 1 July from 7 to 9.30 p.m. - "Fireflies and the full moon", a walk with storytelling inside the wooded part of the estate with return at dusk, for children aged 4 to 7. Participants will be able to admire nightfall in the beautiful park of the Villa Medicea di Coltano.

Saturday 29 July from 7 to 10 a.m. - "Wake up early!": a photo hunt at dawn with an excursion to discover how the forest wakes up and how its animals stretch out. Dedicated to children aged 7 to 10.

Saturday 2 September from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. - "I bestiolini", excursion with animated reading in the forest, dedicated to children aged 5 to 7, to discover the strange little animals that roam among the bushes and tree trunks.

Sunday 3 September from 3.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. - "Al lupo al lupo, lupinella racconta", a walk with storytelling. Dedicated to children aged 6 to 9, to learn about who the wolf is, what differentiates him from the dog and how his range has changed over time.

Lipu Oasis Chiarone Nature Reserve and Lake Massaciuccoli

Sunday 18 and 25 June from 5 p.m. to 7.30 p.m. - "Discovering marsh grasses". As part of the event "La via delle erbe e dei fiori" guided tour to discover marsh plants in the Chiarone Nature Reserve. Free access without booking.

Saturday 15 July from 5 to 8 p.m. - "Il lago del marchese". Guided excursion on foot to Marquis Ginori's Villa and return by boat. Reservation required.

Saturday 12 August from 7.30 p.m. to midnight - "Arte in volo" - Night of St. Lawrence with musical events and guided observation of the vault of heaven, organised by Astro Versilia Free admission. Reservations are required for the boat excursion.

Saturday 16 September from 4 to 7 p.m. - "From the marsh to the hill". Excursion through the marsh and the hilly landscape, visit to the archaeological site dating back to Roman times I-II century AD. Reservations required.

Sunday 2 July from 5 to 8 p.m. - "Calambrone: where there was the sea there is now a forest!". From the forest to the sea on foot to take a closer look at the forest and dune ecosystems that, despite the factories, ex-colonies and housing, still survive in this part of the sandy coast.

Friday 7 July from 5.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. - "The Bocca di Serchio Reserve: a walk among dunes, river and sea". A walk to discover the dune ecosystem of Bocca di Serchio, taking a close look at the works that the associations, the Park and the Vecchiano municipality are carrying out to protect the dunes and the rare faratine

Friday 28 July 17.30 to 19.30 - "Cycling to discover the treasures in the Selva Pisana of Marina di Pisa". From Pisa to Marina di Pisa by bicycle along the Trammino cycle path, discovering the backwoods and characteristic environments of the Tombolo Estate.

Friday 4 August from 5.30 p.m. to 8 p.m. - "La Riserva di Bocca di Serchio: a walk through the dunes, the river and the sea". A walk to discover the dune ecosystem of Bocca di Serchio, taking a close look at the work that the associations, the Park and the Vecchiano municipality are doing to protect the dunes and the rare fratino.

Sunday 13 August from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. - "Calambrone: where the sea used to be, there is now a forest!". Legambiente Versilia

Monday 3 July from 6 to 10 p.m. - Cycling in Bocca di Serchio, guided excursion from Macchia Lucchese to the river mouth visiting four nature reserves: Lecciona, Guidicciona, Bufalina and Bocca di Serchio. Packed dinner at sunset over the sea.

Monday 17 July from 4 to 8 pm - From the wood to the sea: let's discover the Lecciona, a guided excursion in the Lecciona nature reserve to discover its richness of species and environments and the importance of preserving and protecting it.

Monday 24 July from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. - Discovering the Bufalina nature reserve and the fratino, a guided excursion to discover the fratino and its natural habitat to learn how to know and protect it.

Monday 7 and Monday 21 August from 4 to 8 p.m. - Dal bosco al mare: scopriamo la Lecciona, guided excursion to the Lecciona nature reserve to discover its wealth of species and environments and the importance of preserving and protecting it.

WWF Alta Toscana

Monday 10 July from 8.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. - Chi trova una tartaruga trova un tesoro (Who finds a turtle finds a treasure), educational outing in the Lecciona reserve to explain the characteristics of the marine habitat to children.

Friday 21 July and Friday 4 August from 9 to 11 a.m. - Play-excursion in the pinewood of Marina di Pisa, an educational visit dedicated to children, to invite them to reflect on living together with wildlife, in collaboration with the Teatrino del Sole.

Friday 21 July from 6 to 10 p.m. - Sunset and shooting stars at lago di Massaciuccoli (Sunset and shooting stars at Lake Massaciuccoli), excursion admiring the sunset around the lake and observation of the night sky at La Brilla, in collaboration with the Gruppo Astrofili (Astrophile Group) and the Park visitor centre.

Sunday 6 August from 6 to 10 p.m. - Sunset and shooting stars at Lecciona, sunset excursion in the reserve and observation of the stars.

Sunday 13 August from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. - Sea Lab: discovering the sea, at Marina di Pisa, educational workshops and informative activities on the marine habitat, in collaboration with the TartAmare association and the 'Il Pineto' adventure park

Finally, every Thursday from 15 June to 17 August - Guided tour of the WWF Dune Oasis in Tirrenia.
