On the occasion of the "Biennale di Architettura 2025", the Church of Santa Maria della Spina and the Fortilizio della Cittadella host a retrospective dedicated to Alvaro Siza which analyze the two dimensions of Siza's work: the civil one and the one dedicated to the sacred.

A journey through twenty-two projects is therefore exhibited at the Fortilizio, from youth works to social housing projects up to the European architecture of the 1980s and the most recent works. In the Church, however, the six sacred projects are collected, also presented through unpublished photographs and models

The exhibitions can be visited until Sunday 16 November 2025, continuously, from Tuesday to Sunday (closed Monday) from 11.00 to 19.00.

The exhibition is organized by the LP Association with the patronage of the Municipality of Pisa. (Access to the Guelph Tower on Saturdays and Sundays only)
