Torre Sant'Agnese e Manifatture Digitali Cinema (M. Cerrai, Comune di Pisa)
The Stallette, nineteenth-century structures that housed the first public slaughterhouses (later converted into stables), which can be accessed from via Nicola Pisano, since 2016 have hosted the Manifatture Digitali (Digital Manufactures), a cutting-edge centre of digital cinematography; a space for experimentation and aggregation that is part of the project Pisa, the capital of Italian cinema.

The entrance is dominated by the Sant'Agnese tower, named after the church with the same name, already mentioned in the year 1000 and no longer existing. The only tower that still exists in the walls built in 1154, it was rebuilt in 1324 and strengthened in 1394 by Jacopo d'Appiano. Here stood the gate of the Lecci, which no longer exists.
Continuing north along via Nicola Pisano, we meet the 13th century Portaccia, a gate near the Department of Cultural Heritage of the University of Pisa. Here the walls are buried due to the subsequent elevation of the road surface.
