An astronomical evening dedicated to children and young people (6-18), with a workshop focusing on simulating the formation of lunar craters followed by observation of the Moon through telescopes.

The birth of a planet - Francesco Maio
The planets of the solar system are the most conspicuous bodies in the night sky, but have they always existed? When and how did they form? An observation of double stars will follow the presentation.

Summer Solstice - Agnese Guernieri & Domenico Antonacci
A short talk in which we will investigate the artistic, religious and other symbolism of the summer solstice, followed by astronomical observations.

Let's dance physics - Elisa de Luca & Fausto Rossi
An astronomical evening dedicated to children and young people (6-18). In this workshop we will discover the importance of rhythm and the use of space, we will challenge the force of gravity as the Moon around the Earth, and we will put our energy into play and test our balance. Followed by astronomical observations for the little ones.

From the Earth to the Moon - Francesco Maio
An astronomical evening dedicated to children and young people (6-18), with a workshop focused on rediscovering the great missions of the Apollo programme, followed by observation of the Moon through telescopes.
Friday 15 July
Saturn: the lord of the rings - Francesco Maio
Saturn is the second largest planet in the solar system and the one with the largest ring system. This evening will be dedicated to discovering its wonders and its strange moons. Astronomical observations of Saturn and its moons will also be performed.
