Guided tours of the characteristic pavilion vault of the Synagogue of Pisa to the variety of architectural styles that characterize the Jewish cemetery: on Sunday 25th October Coopculture, in collaboration with the Pisan Jewish Community, organizes guided tours of the two monuments.

In the morning, starting at 10am or 11.30am, it will be possible to admire the Jewish cemetery that overlooks Piazza dei Miracoli through the ancient Lion's Gate of the Walls of Pisa. Here are buried characters such as Alessandro D'Ancona, Mayor of Pisa at the beginning of the 1900s, and Maria di Vestea Fischmann, the first woman to graduate in Medicine at the University of Pisa.

In the afternoon, with departures at 4pm and 5.30pm , a journey through history with a visit to the Synagogue, where among other things you can admire a newly rediscovered and restored Aron Ha Kodesh from the 16th century.
