The calendar of events organized by the Pisa Section of the Italian Navy League has been published that will delight lovers of the sea and, in particular, sailing, in the spring and summer of this year.

 

The most important event is the "Italian League of Naval League", reserved for sailing lovers and whose aim is to promote the integration between competitive events and recreational and sporting events. The Championship, which takes place under the aegis of L.N.I. without the need for measurement certificates, will start on May 19 and end on October 6 and will be divided into 5 trials for a total of 8 days at sea: the now classic Memorial Naldini (June 10), Cavalieri di Santo Stefano Trophy / Memorial Poli ( 1 July), Lions Marconi Trophy (2 September), "Io / Io & Te / Io & Noi" Sailing (September 23), which will take place on the traditional "headlights" tour Marina - ShipLight - Luminella - Marina, and a new Boccadarno Rally Velico (19 and 26 May, 15 September and 6 October), which, divided into 4 tests: 3 sailing along the coast and a "turn of the headlights" reduced in front of Marina di Pisa, will try to combine the sea sailing with a little 'healthy competition with the joy of meeting all around a laid table. L.N.I. do not forget those who love sailing with a drift and reserve for them the Trophy L.N.I. Dinghy 12 "dinghy regatta, which will take place on August 25th in front of Marina di Pisa.

 

But the L.N.I. Pisa is not just sailing and in June will provide assistance in water for the events of the June Pisano: members of the L.N.I. with their boats and dinghies they will ensure the regular and safe conduct of the water events organized by the Municipality of Pisa (17 June). Month of June that will end with a weekend dedicated to the sea. On June 30th and July 1st, at the Port of Pisa, the "MareinFesta" event will take place. Two days full of conferences, meetings, demonstrations, exhibitions, concerts and sporting events. And on August 25, the Pisa Navy League Cup, Dinghy 12 race. After the efforts of sailing, sea lovers will enjoy the first calm autumn days with the 13th Cuttlefish Fishing Trophy, the now classic fishing competition sepia in pairs that will take place in the waters of Marina di Pisa on October 13th.

 

The season will end on October 21st with a big End of Season Festival at the L.N.I. Pisa of Viale D'Annunzio during which will be awarded, with cups, plaques and other prizes, those who are more distinguished in the various events: championship, every single round of the championship, dinghy regatta and fishing competition.
