Stardust Classic brings to the big screen "Tosca", a timeless masterpiece by Giacomo Puccini to rediscover the charm of one of the most famous opera heroines.

In the Rome of 1800 after the failure of the Roman Republic, when the Papal State is capturing representatives and supporters of the Republic, the lives of the painter Mario Cavaradossi and his lover Tosca, meet Cesare Angelotti, a patriot who escaped from the Pope's jails. of the fugitive there is the head of the papal police, Barone Scampia who, in love with Tosca, takes advantage of the situation to conquer the woman. The dramatic work ends up as a tragedy ends: the fugitive dies, the bad Scampia dies at the hands of Tosca, the painter dies and finally suicide Tosca dies.
