To celebrate the 2,000th anniversary of Pliny the Elder's birth, the Botanical Garden and Museum is hosting a small temporary exhibition in the Palazzo delle Conchiglie. In addition, there is a thematic tour inside the Botanical Garden, where some of the plants cultivated here and mentioned in Pliny the Elder's main work, the Naturalis Historia, are highlighted.

The exhibition can be visited from Wednesday 17 May to Sunday 31 December 2023, according to museum opening hours.
