In recent days, the 'Faith and Art in Pisa' association was born with the aim to recruit willing volunteers to keep those churches open that otherwise would be closed unless they were on the schedule of celebrations.

 

It is the case of the churches of San Sisto in Cortevecchia and Santo Stefano dei Cavalieri: the next Saturday, September 23rd, the two churches will remain open from 10 am to 6 pm, the next day Fap volunteers will guarantee opening from 3 pm to 8 pm; Finally, on Monday, September 25th, the only church of Santo Stefano dei Cavalieri will remain open from 21:00 to 23:00. The same opening hours will be observed on September 30th, October 1st and 2nd.

 

The association 'Faith and art in Pisa' starts with a dozen volunteers, but intends to expand. Anyone interested in 'enrolling' can write an e-mail to associazionefap@gmail.com.
