The church of Santa Maria della Spina on Lungarno Gambacorti opens again to the public with the personal exhibition of Roberto Braida, "The suspended time", curated by Riccardo Ferrucci. The exhibition (open until 28 May: from Wednesday to Sunday from 14.00 to 18.30) features three canvases by the La Spezia artist that describe three different situations, interior images, each of which has its own specific peculiarity.

The artist Roberto Braida was born in La Spezia in 1953. From an early age he devoted himself to drawing and painting, under the guidance of Maestro Gino Bellani. His career as a professional painter began in 1974 with his first solo show and there are numerous exhibitions, appearances and acknowledgments by the artist in national and international events. In 2012 he was awarded civic merit for artistic merits by the municipal administration of his city.
