Wednesday, January 10th opens the season of concerts Pisa Jazz 2018, the event promoted by the Association ExWide with the contribution of the Pisa Foundation and the support of the City of Pisa. The protagonist of this event, which is set to be the first sold-out of the season, will be the American guitarist Julian Lage. The concert is at Teatro Sant'Andrea at 9.30pm.

 

Julian Lage is the undisclosed secret of the new American jazz. A monster with a tightrope talent, an authentic heir of a great tradition that renews feeding it with a lightness, an ease and a pleasure such as to be evident to anyone and stunning. A clear and living proof that not even the most melodious and classic jazz is not music of the past if the fire still burns on stage. It is accompanied by the virtuoso bassist Jorge Roeder, of Peruvian origin, and the emerging drummer Eric Doob, twice nominated at the Grammy.
