From 20th to 22nd April, the Port of Pisa will host a weekend of events related to the sea and the territory. A series of initiatives that inaugurate the 2018 season, which is full of sports and meetings, welcome confirmations and great news.

 

For the first time in Marina di Pisa, the traveling art exhibition ARTour di Gusto arrives. Master craftsmen and local producers are waiting for you on Saturday and Sunday along the south quay, starting at 10, with artifacts of high-end artistic craftsmanship and excellent food and wine products. An event organized and coordinated by CNA Pisa together with the Tuscan Sapori Consortium - Italian Food & Wine in collaboration with Artex Artigianato Artistico, the Municipality of Pisa, the Chamber of Commerce, with the participation of the Port of Pisa. The two days dedicated to taste and creativity will be animated by the performances of master cooks and confectioners with demonstrations, show cooking and food art.

 

From Friday, the second edition of the Tuscany Tuna Contest will take place in the waters in front of the Port, a drifting competition for catch and release bluefin tuna, with the release after catching the fish. The challenge between crews, organized by a.s.d. Valdelsa, with the collaboration of the Port of Pisa, returns, after the debut of last year, with the same spirit of sharing and passion for the sea. Award ceremony on Sunday at 6 pm at the YCRMP restaurant on the central island.

 

The Yacht Club Repubblica Marinara of Pisa will inaugurate the sailing season on Saturday with the Open Day. Sea trips of two hours, lessons of seafaring knots on the dock and aperitif for everyone. Meeting at the YCRMP restaurant.

 

Saturday and Sunday, the Port will also host the sea trials of Honda Marine outboard engines and the display of new Honda outboard models and Ranieri International motorized Honda, thanks to the collaboration with Arno Marine.
