On 2 April, the appointment is renewed with #sundayatmuseum, the initiative of the Ministry of Culture that allows free admission, every first Sunday of the month, to state museums and archaeological parks.
At the Museo Nazionale di San Matteo Pisa, starting at 11:00 a.m., the results of the ongoing project "Microcosms of History: coins, seals and medals of the Museo Nazionale di San Matteo in Pisa" will be presented.
The project, financed by the Fondazione Pisa and the Municipality of Pisa, and developed by the Società Storica Pisana in agreement with the Directorate of the Museo Nazionale di San Matteo, aims to recover and valorise the coin and seal collections kept in the Museum's storerooms, sources of primary importance for recounting and making the history of Pisa and its territory, as well as the Region, from Antiquity to the nineteenth century, better known to a wider public.
The Museo Nazionale di Palazzo Reale will also be open free of charge from 9:00 to 1:30 p.m. (last admission 1:00).
At 11:00 a.m. free guided tour without reservation.
