The Calabrian Culture Festival returns to Pisa, with its 19th edition from 13 to 20 September.
The event will be held under the patronage of the Municipality of Pisa, the Municipality of Catanzaro and the Municipality of Montecatini Val di Cecina.
Below is the programme of all the appointments.
WEDNESDAY 13, 5 p.m.: inauguration of the Collective Exhibition of Calabrian Artists at the atrium of Palazzo Gambacorti.
The exhibition will be open until 20 September, free admission.
THURSDAY 14, 10 am: opening of the exhibition-market of Calabrian food and wine and handicrafts in Logge dei Banchi.
FRIDAY 15, 6 pm: presentation of the book 'La dote della santa. Oltre l'ostacolo, per un nuovo inizio' (Beyond the obstacle, for a new beginning) by Domenico Squillacioti at the Stazione Leopolda Conference Hall.
SATURDAY 16, 9.30 p.m.: concert by Calabrian singer-songwriter Mario Migliarese at the Filarmonica Pisana.
SUNDAY 17, 1 p.m.: social lunch at the ARCI Pisanova club.
MONDAY 18, 6 p.m.: presentation of the volume 'Piccolo vocabolario del dialetto aiellese' (Small dictionary of Aiello dialect) by Gaetano Coccimiglio and Pietro Pucci at the garden of the Church of San Frediano.
TUESDAY 19, 7pm: presentation of the book 'Discovering Italians. I viaggi delle radici in Italia' by M. Gabrieli, R. Giumelli, D. Licata and G. Sommario in the garden of the Church of San Frediano.
WEDNESDAY 20, 9.30 p.m.: screening of the documentary 'Oh ruin! Breve saggio sul non finito" followed by a meeting with director Domenico Lagano at the Cinema Arsenale.
