The event dedicated to fashion and beyond returns on Sunday 7 September to the Scotto Garden “Stelle in Giardino”. The initiative is organized by the Municipality of Pisa in collaboration with Polimoda, one of the Italian excellences in the field of fashion training. The event will start at 10 pm.
A fashion show is scheduled with the participation of young models who will wear garments made by the students of the Undergraduate in Fashion Design course by Polimoda and archival garments by Emilio Pucci and haute couture from the Mancuso-Rauchenberger archive. During the evening there will also be artistic performances with musical performances by Jalisse and choreographies of great emotional impact, with the presence of the dancing couple Anbeta Toromani and Alessandro Macario who, among other things, will perform dance steps for two to the tune of “Carmen” by Bizet and on the sound suggestions of “Invisible Grace” by Gurdjieff. Also scheduled is a talk with guests from the world of art, fashion and entrepreneurship who will talk about their professional journey, stimulating reflections on professional opportunities and emancipation through creativity.

Special parade with items from the Emilio Pucci collection and Tuscan haute couture. Also on the program is the parade of a selection of garments from the Mancuso-Rauchenberger archive, born from the meeting between Flavio Mancuso and Maria Katharina Rauchenberger. Unique collection, which brings together clothes, accessories, jewellery, costumes and fabrics capable of describing the dialogue between different eras, cultures and artistic sensibilities. The selection for “Stars in the Garden”, curated by Massimiliano Giornetti, director of Polimoda, has Tuscany as its common thread. Dresses by Emilio Pucci, flanked by iconic pieces of sartorial origin in a transversal journey through the 20th century. Each garment thus becomes a narrative in fabric, a mix of individual memory and collective tradition, between sartorial elegance and artistic research.
Meanwhile, the open call launched to participate in the casting “Real People” is expiring today, which will allow young people to parade. Open to people of all kinds, aged between 18 and 26, residing in Pisa and its province, the selection will take place in the foyer of the Verdi theater (via Palestro 40, Pisa) on Thursday 28 August and Tuesday 2 September, from 10am: 00 to 12.30 and from 4.00 pm to 7.00 pm.
