The GAMeC CentroArteModerna in Pisa, under the direction of Massimiliano Sbrana, presents "Percorsi", a new and significant step in its commitment to promoting contemporary artistic research. The exhibition, hosted in the historic spaces overlooking the Lungarno Mediceo, will be open to visitors from Saturday 28 March to Wednesday 8 April 2026.
Paths was born as an invitation to observe contemporary art through the lens of plurality: plurality of languages, visions, materials, sensibilities. At a time in history when art moves rapidly between tradition and experimentation, the exhibition proposes a crossing of four distinct creative universes, each bearing its own history, its own rhythm, its own way of questioning reality.
The exhibition brings together Riccardo Baldini, Marco Lascar, Sergio Mazzanti, and Antonio Pappalardo, four artists who, despite their diverse backgrounds and poetics, share a desire to explore the image as a space for research and transformation. Their works —paintings, sculptures, installations and material experiments — dialogue with each other creating a dynamic exhibition route, where the visitor is invited to move freely between atmospheres, gestures, colours and forms.
Paths is therefore a journey: a crossing of internal and visual territories, a mosaic of approaches that meet without overlapping, each maintaining its own identity. It is a tribute to the richness of contemporary art and its ability to generate questions, emotions, reflections.
An opportunity to discover how four artists, through different paths, come to construct a single choral narrative made of insights, memories, tensions and beauty.
