On Friday 21 November, Saturday 22 November, Sunday 23 November and Monday 24 November 2025, the “Fibonacci Days”, established in 2019, will return with a programme of free events organised by the Municipality of Pisa to celebrate the famous mathematician.
On Thursday 6 November at 11:30 a.m. in the Sala Azzurra of Palazzo della Carovana, there will be a preview of Fibonacci Days with “OPERAE”, a presentation of the sculpture installed in Piazza dei Cavalieri by artist Gianni Lucchesi.
The sculpture will be on display until 25 November 2025.
Speakers will include Luigi Ambrosio (full professor of Mathematical Analysis at the Scuola Normale Superiore), Paolo Pesciatini (Councillor for Tourism - Municipality of Pisa), Stefano Renzoni (art historian), Carlo Alberto Arzelà (architect), Federico Poloni (University of Pisa) and Gianni Lucchesi (artist).
