The city is beginning to prepare for the Christmas holidays with the lights, colours and smells of the most magical time of the year. The SMA museums are also getting ready to celebrate Christmas and Epiphany together with a rich calendar of activities for adults and children, organised to help you discover the historical, artistic, naturalistic and scientific heritage of the University of Pisa.
The cost of guided tours is €5.00 and for family activities it is €6.00 per child.

Afternoon at the Museum: a visit to the Edda Bresciani Egyptian Collections. A guided tour to discover the history, curiosities and stories behind some of the most precious artefacts preserved in the Museum's Collections.

Christmas at the exhibition Secrets of the Body. A journey through medicine and archaeology. A guided tour by Dr Simona Minozzi will allow you to discover what palaeopathology is by observing a series of ancient human remains of archaeological interest, including two mummies and skeletal remains that illustrate various pathologies and therapeutic interventions of the past.
