From 7 to 18 September 2026, the Officine Garibaldi will host an exhibition by Piero Iafrate dedicated to Jackson Pollock, a key figure in Abstract Expressionism.
 

Born in Arpino in 1971 and trained artistically under the guidance of Maestro Umberto Mastroianni, Iafrate has, over time, developed a personal artistic journey in which colour becomes an emotional language, a medium and a tool for exploring the inner self. A significant part of his artistic practice lies within abstract art and finds an important point of reference in Pollock’s work: dripping, layers of colour and gestural painting become tools for conveying emotions, movement and the unconscious.
The exhibition is thus conceived as a tribute to an artist who transformed the act of painting into an extraordinary experience of creative freedom.
It is an invitation not necessarily to try to ‘decipher’ the works, but to observe them and allow oneself to be drawn in by the material, the colour and the emotions they evoke.
