On Saturday, July 25, “Touching the Moon with a Finger” will take place—a magical night to admire our natural satellite and the wonders of the sky through telescopes set up at high altitudes, immersed in the atmosphere of Piazza dei Miracoli. A journey in stages through the secrets of the cosmos, featuring a special opening of the Torre Santa Maria, where one of the telescopes will be positioned 25 meters above the ground.
The observations are organized in collaboration with the Museum of Physics Instruments—Science Playroom at the University of Pisa.
Tours depart at 9:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m. from Torre Santa Maria (Piazza dei Miracoli).
