Sunday, 4 January 2026 marks the return of Sunday at the Museum, an initiative by the Ministry of Culture that offers free admission to state museums and archaeological parks on the first Sunday of every month.
As on every first Sunday of the month, the Ateno Museum System, with the “Edda Bresciani” Egyptian Collections and the Museum of Graphic Arts, is participating in the initiative.
National Museums of Pisa
National Museum of San Matteo: open 9 am - 1.30 pm (last admission 1 pm).
National Museum of Palazzo Reale: open 9 am - 1.30 pm (last admission 1 pm).
Museum of Ancient Ships: open 2 pm - 7.30 pm (last admission 6.30 pm).
Monumental Complex of the Certosa di Calci: open 9 am - 1.30 pm (last admission 1 pm) - free admission to the courtyard of honour and the frescoed church. Full itinerary only with guided tour for a fee organised by Cooperativa Archeologia e Itinera at : 9.30 am, 10.30 am, 11.30 am, 12.30 pm.
