The Aorta Social Art Gallery presents a new exhibition: Shout it out!
A river of color as an alternative tool to words, an emotional short circuit to express and clamor for respect for each individual, their diversity, their uniqueness. To oppose a contemporaneity that increasingly appears to be at odds with the basic principles of solidarity and shared coexistence, where the normalization of an ever-increasing destruction of our planet prevails.
Shout out at an overtourism that is taking away our cities, our history, and our art, squeezed, drunk, and thrown into a post or reel.
Shout out at those who want you beautiful, fit, in the latest fashion, at those who only accept you straight and don't allow you to live, love, dress, behave the way you want.
Shout out at those who censor sex, genitals, breasts, but appears indifferent to the daily, unstoppable flow of images of death and extermination, with the first victims being children.
Shout out at those who make religion an instrument of intolerance and hatred, of limiting the freedoms of individuals in the name of unshared principles.
Shout out at those who only see in black and white. Scream as loudly as you can at those who still discriminate on skin color, engaging in violence, discriminating against, and enslaving those who are not white.
Shout out at the top of your lungs your being with pride.
