
A cycle of meetings and listening dedicated to stories, sounds and protagonists of jazz, between roots, evolutions and extraordinary journeys. An opportunity to discover and rediscover stories of jazz and some of its protagonists through unpublished perspectives, enriched by narratives, images and music. Each meeting will introduce the evening’s concerts, offering the audience tools and insights for a deeper understanding of live music.
All meetings will be held by Francesco Martinelli. Jazz historian, organizer, journalist and teacher, Francesco Martinelli has been involved since the 1970s in the spread of jazz culture in Italy and Europe. Founder of Pisa Jazz and promoter of the historical International Jazz Festivals in Pisa.
The meetings will take place at the Bastion Sangallo at the Scotto Garden (entrance from Via Sangallo) at 6 p.m..
