From 22 to 28 February, Palazzo Gambacorti will host the photo exhibition-competition on the foster care "Mi affido alle immagini".
The idea of the competition was born from a group of foster families and is promoted by the Famiglia Aperta Association APS, the Society of Health of Tuscany, with the coordination of the Pisa Foster Care Center, under the patronage of the City of Pisa, is dedicated to non-professional photographers divided into two categories, "Junior" (8 to 18 years) and "Senior".
The initiative invites visitors to interpret, through photographic images, the theme proposed by the title, with two sub-categories:
- "The place where I live" for the category "Junior".
- "Our way together" for the category "Senior".
We want to take up the challenge, common to the current situation and changes that have led both the children, as the foster parents, to redefine their own history, but also to overcome appearances, upset rational thinking and grasp, with a shot, how much there is around us of original, not assumed and often out of the box in the foster experience.
