In conjunction with the events of Giugno PIsano, the museums of the Ateneo Museum System (SMA) propose various activities for young and old to discover the rich historical, artistic, scientific and natural heritage of the University of Pisa.

Saturday 14 June Chiara Marchegiano, biologist, and Giulia Pieraccini, geologist, will take you on a journey in the history of life and, together with the public who can choose from time to time which direction to give the show, in a "conference at bivi", will explore the different adaptations and relationships between geology and biology in the history of planet Earth.
There will be a photographic exhibition dedicated to the themes of evolution and conservation of living species, and interactive workshops and activities on evolution and paleontology with the possibility of observing and working with real fossils.

Museo di Anatomia Umana “Filippo Civinini” - via Roma, 55 - Pisa
The Museum of Human Anatomy "Filippo Civinini" of the University of Pisa hosts the presentation of a documentary on the fascinating history of the discovery of NGF (neurotrofine) that led to the Nobel prize Rita Levi Montalcini and Stanley Cohen.
Their work has changed the paradigms of biology and opened new ways in treating degeneration of the nervous system.
The first episode "The memory of the future", which tells the beginning of history in Turin in the workshop of Giuseppe Levi, was shot in this museum.
