European Mobility Week (SEM) returns from 16 to 22 September 2026, an initiative promoted by the European Commission and now in its 25th edition. The campaign aims to promote change in favor of active mobility, public transport, and other smart, non-polluting modes of transport.

This year, FIAB Pisa has once again organized numerous cycling events suitable for all ages.
The complete program: 

• Friday, September 18, 2026 - Bike2Work: UNIPI, SNS, SSS, CNR, INFN together for a collective ride before work. Meet at 9:30 a.m. in Piazza Dei Cavalieri. 
• Saturday, September 19, 2026 - Park(ing) Day in Piazza San Silvestro: the square is transformed into a place of sharing to experience public space in a different way! In collaboration with Legambiente, CESVOT and many Pisan associations. Start: 9:30 a.m. 
• Sunday, September 20, 2026 - Pisa's Ugly Bike Paths: A trip to (re)discover your least-loved bike paths. Free trip upon registration. Start: 4:45 PM 
• Tuesday, September 22, 2026 - Games without pedals, the bike for the little ones. Routes to practice balance biking and to cover the joy of movement, in Piazza San Paolo in Ripa d'Arno. Start: 4 pm

The 2026 edition was produced with the contribution of the Sustainable University Commission of the University of Pisa and the Pisa Foundation. The event received the patronage of the University's Sustainable Commission.
