After the exceptional location on board the ship Amerigo Vespucci on the occasion of the stage in Livorno, the exhibition Cavalieri per mare. The Stefaniana Marina in modern age returns to Palazzo Toscanelli, home of the State Archives of Pisa in Lungarno Mediceo 17, to tell about navigation, sailors and nobility in Tuscany in the modern period.

The result of the collaboration between the State Archives of Pisa, the Institution of the Knights of Saint Stephen and the Italian Navy, in the Hall of stuccos unfolds the story of the Order Stefaniano, with rare documents and objects such as the foundation bull, the first statute of 1562, the uniforms, the "proofs" of nobility, the nautical charts and the testimonies on Giorgio Vasari who redesigned for the Order the current Piazza dei Cavalieri.

Admission to the exhibition is free from 9 am to 1 pm, Monday to Friday.
