From Saturday 5 October to Monday 28 October 2024, the Spazio Espositivo Sopra Le Logge will host a retrospective of the artist Rossana Biagi.
The exhibition is curated by Enzo Lamassa with E. Caporali and J. Pietrobelli and has the patronage of the Municipality of Pisa.
The idea for the project starts from the memory that Rossana Biagi left to the city of Pisa, hundreds of artistic works including tempera and oil paintings that develop themes linked to the world of science, dreams, nature, spirituality and music. Dedicated to art, painting and writing and living in the shadow of the Tower all her life, she debuted with an abstract exhibition in the town hall in 1959 and is completed almost thirty years after her death in 1998 with the retrospective exhibition in the exhibition space above the Loggias in October 2024.
The project is part of a historical-artistic itinerary of 20th century art in the context of the local history of our city, as a memory of knowledge for future generations.
The inauguration will take place on Saturday 5 October 2024 at 6 p.m.
The exhibition can be visited every day from 4p.m. to 7.30p.m.
