The opening of the theatre season is approaching with the premiere of The Barber of Seville. To discover and get closer to one of Gioachino Rossini's most famous compositions, the Theatre of Pisa is offering audiences of all ages a 'Rossini week'.

Precisely for this occasion, on Monday 23 October at 4 p.m. at the Museo della Grafica (Palazzo Lanfranchi) the exhibition La Bottega di Figaro opens, an exhibition of maquettes inspired by the Barbiere di Siviglia created by primary and secondary school students who took part in the first edition of the Piccoli Artigiani all'Opera project. It can be visited until 29 October.

Admission is free, every day according to the museum's opening hours: 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. (last admission at 6 p.m.).

Thursday, October 26 at 18:00 the Museum of Graphics will host, exceptionally, the traditional Guide to the Opera organized by the Fondazione Teatro di Pisa.

Waiting for the Premiere of the Barber of Seville, which will be staged Friday 27 at 20:30 at the Teatro Verdi in Pisa, in the halls of the Museum of Graphics, the artistic director Cristian Carrara through famous songs and arias, curiosities and anecdotes on the life of Gioachino Rossini, and on the genesis and composition of the Barber of Seville, will deepen with the audience the plot, characters and musical aspects of Rossini’s masterpiece. The director Luigi De Angelis, the director Francesco Pasqualetti and the cast artists will be present.
