The Florentine guitarist Gianni Zei and the Wedding Band, with Roberto Beneventi at the accordion and Ruben Chaviano at the violin.

 

This agile instrumental formation, with a particular timbre color, will perform songs from the South American, international and folk Italian repertoire. The program will be complemented by compositions by famous authors like Astor Piazzolla, Richard Galliano, Egberto Gismonti, reinterpreted in an original and brilliant way. The band's name, Wedding band, refers to meeting, marriage, repertoires and different styles, and emphasizes the particular eclecticism of training. The versatility and virtuosity of the three musicians naturally coexist with the rhythmic vigor of Latin tradition, the beauty of Italian melody, the freedom of jazz improvisation, in a delightful and full of energy.
