After the success of the first edition, Colpi di Grazia is back at the Giardino La Nunziatina in Pisa. This musical event is dedicated to women musicians, to their ability to strike the brain and the heart with their verve, their stage presence, their power and their bravura. Several appointments are scheduled between May and June. It starts on Friday 19 May, at 7.30 p.m. with a concert dedicated to Franco Battiato. On the stage of the summer arena in the city centre, Valeria Volpi (voice) and Carlo De Toni (voice and guitar) will perform accompanied by Dario Cei (piano and flute) with the live project Inneres Auge.

In 2020 Carlo De Toni, singer, author, producer, multi-instrumentalist, active in music since 1990 and in theatre since 1999, and Valeria Volpi, an artist known and appreciated on stages all over Tuscany, were called upon by Michele Micheletti and Leonardo Pagni to take care of the music for the "CO_SCIENZA" lectures (in its third edition already presented by Red Ronnie). Thus was born the live project Inneres Auge, dedicated entirely to maestro Franco Battiato. The musical collective sees the stable presence of Carlo De Toni and Valeria Volpi and the participation of musicians such as Dario Cei on piano and flute and Micheletti himself, a trainer and coach, who enriches the performances with interventions aimed at narrating the inner message of Battiato's songs. The musicians' interpretation, intimate and whispered, invites the listener on a journey, one that the name of the project itself expresses, namely opening one's 'inner eye'. , a translation of 'inneres auge'. Born as an online event, a choice forced by Covid's restrictions, the project quickly matured, flanking the reports of researchers with a presentation by Red Ronnie. In recent years it has been enthusiastically received in theatres and venues throughout Tuscany.

Colpi di Grazia is the brainchild of the Metarock Association, and is organised in collaboration with La Nunziatina and with the contribution of the Pisa Foundation. The music festival, which opened with the presentation of Sopra la luna, the debut album by EMIS, the new band of Dome la Muerte and Marina Mulopulos, will return on 26 May with a live performance by Teresa Plantamura.

Next scheduled dates are 9 June with Arachel Dolphie and 23 June with Serena Altavilla.
